Lawsuit Alleges Ensign Group Made Misleading Statements
Shareholder rights firm Schall, Brown & Schwartz LLP has initiated a class action lawsuit against The Ensign Group. The suit alleges the company made misleading statements regarding its nursing home operations.
National shareholder rights firm Schall, Brown & Schwartz LLP (SBS) is notifying investors of a class action lawsuit filed against The Ensign Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENSG). The lawsuit, which covers the period from February 10, 2022, to June 18, 2026, alleges violations of securities laws. Investors who purchased ENSG shares during this period and suffered losses are encouraged to contact the firm regarding potential lead plaintiff appointments.
The complaint asserts that The Ensign Group's business model failed to provide adequate care for elderly patients in its facilities. The suit alleges the company neglected residents, including failing to respond to those in distress. It further claims that Ensign used self-reporting measures to conceal these issues. When the market learned the truth about the company's practices, investors incurred damages.
SBS emphasizes that the class has not yet been certified. Until certification, investors are not represented by an attorney but can remain absent class members. Investors have a deadline of December 7, 2026, to participate in the lawsuit or contact the firm to discuss their rights. Appointment as lead plaintiff is not required to share in any recovery.
