Lawsuit Filed Against Beta Bionics Over Alleged Insulin Pump Malfunctions

New York and New Orleans – Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC (KSF) has notified investors in Beta Bionics, Inc. of a class action securities lawsuit. The suit seeks to recover losses for investors who purchased or acquired Beta Bionics common stock between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026. The action is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

The complaint alleges that defendants made materially false or misleading statements and failed to disclose adverse facts about the company's business and prospects. Specifically, the lawsuit claims Beta Bionics' iLet Bionic Pancreas insulin pump utilized an aggressive automated dosing algorithm that malfunctioned, leading to dangerously high insulin levels and hypoglycemic events.

Furthermore, the suit alleges that defendants did not disclose to investors that the company had received thousands of customer complaints related to the device's performance, which it failed to investigate or report to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The FDA also issued a warning letter to the company in June 2025 concerning its quality management system and reporting, rendering the company's positive statements misleading.

Investors who purchased Beta Bionics stock during the specified period and suffered losses are advised to request the court appoint them as lead plaintiff by November 3, 2026. However, sharing in any recovery does not require serving as lead plaintiff.
