Lawsuit Filed Against Salveo Home Care for Alleged Wage Violations

The lawsuit, filed in Sacramento, California, alleges that Salveo Home Care violated California labor laws by failing to pay employees their full wages and to provide legally mandated meal and rest breaks.
The complaint, case number 26CV019602, is pending in the Sacramento County Superior Court. According to the filing, Salveo Home Care allegedly failed to pay minimum wages, overtime wages, provide accurate wage statements, reimburse required expenses, and pay wages when due. These alleged actions are in violation of numerous sections of the California Labor Code and applicable Wage Orders.
The lawsuit further contends that employees were allegedly required to work in excess of four hours without being provided with ten-minute rest periods. California law requires employers to provide off-duty rest periods, during which an employee is relieved from all work duties and employer control.
