Lazard has finalized its purchase of Campbell Lutyens, establishing a new private capital advisory division, Lazard CL, to expand its global service offerings.

Lazard, Inc. has officially completed the acquisition of Campbell Lutyens, a move that results in the formation of Lazard CL. The new division aims to consolidate Lazard's presence in private capital advisory as part of the firm's broader strategy for long-term growth and revenue diversification.
The integration brings together more than 300 advisory professionals across 19 offices, combining Campbell Lutyens' expertise with Lazard's existing global network. Lazard CL will provide services including fund placement, primary fundraising, and secondary market advisory. The firm expects this move to bolster its ability to serve institutional investors and financial sponsors across the private capital lifecycle.
Financial details for the acquisition primarily involved Lazard stock, subject to three-year lock-up provisions. According to Lazard, the acquired business has performed ahead of initial projections. Lazard estimates that the unit will generate approximately $500 million in combined revenue and expects it to be earnings-accretive by 2027.
