Lazard completes acquisition of Campbell Lutyens
Financial firm Lazard has finalized its acquisition of Campbell Lutyens to form a new private capital advisory unit, Lazard CL.

Lazard has completed its acquisition of Campbell Lutyens, a deal first announced in April 2026. The integration launches a new business unit, Lazard CL, designed to consolidate the firm's advisory capabilities in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate.
The new unit operates with over 300 professionals across 19 global offices. By combining primary fundraising and secondary advisory services with Lazard’s existing expertise in M&A and restructuring, the firm aims to provide comprehensive coverage across the full lifecycle of private capital markets.
Lazard CL will utilize proprietary datasets spanning 15 years of investor sentiment and fund pricing, integrated with the firm's AI analytics to support benchmarking and investor targeting. The unit is intended to function as an autonomous entity supported by Lazard’s broader institutional infrastructure.
This transaction aligns with Lazard’s 2030 strategy to diversify its revenue streams. According to financial disclosures, the Campbell Lutyens business has performed above initial forecasts, and Lazard expects the new unit to generate approximately $500 million in combined annual revenue with earnings accretion anticipated in 2027.
