LEAD School Narrows FY26 Loss by 20%, Revenue Up 10%
Indian edtech firm LEAD School reduced its net loss for FY26 by over 20% through cost optimization. Operating revenue saw a 10% year-on-year increase.

LEAD School, an Indian education technology company, has narrowed its net loss for the fiscal year 2026 by more than 20%, reporting a loss of ₹34.5 crore (approximately $4.1 million) compared to ₹43.3 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company attributed this improvement primarily to cost optimization measures implemented over the past fiscal period.
Operating revenue for FY26 rose by 10% to ₹386.7 crore ($46.3 million), up from ₹351.8 crore in FY25. Including other income of ₹5.4 crore, LEAD School's total income for the fiscal year reached ₹392 crore.
The company's EBITDA saw a significant improvement, soaring 7.5 times to ₹30.2 crore from ₹4 crore in the prior year. Founded in 2012, LEAD School provides an integrated academic and technology ecosystem for schools aimed at enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.
LEAD School is expanding its product offerings and investing in AI-first learning solutions. The company projects a further 20% year-on-year growth in operating revenue for the current fiscal year (FY27) and anticipates achieving profitability or breaking even during this period.
