Chinese electric vehicle maker Leapmotor has officially entered the North American market by launching in Mexico. The company announced on July 6, 2026, that its B10 model has completed local certification and will commence deliveries later this month. This marks the beginning of the company's expansion into the region.
The Leapmotor B10 is now available in dealerships across Mexico. Prior to its market entry, the model underwent localized adaptation and verification testing at Stellantis's automotive engineering research and development center in Mexico. Leapmotor is leveraging Stellantis's established channel resources in Mexico, with Mopar providing after-sales support.
Leapmotor stated that its C10 and C16 models will subsequently enter the Mexican market to cater to diverse needs, including family travel and multi-passenger transportation. The company has established over 40 authorized dealerships in key Mexican cities and plans to continue expanding its network to cover more second and third-tier cities.
As of June 2026, Leapmotor's cumulative global deliveries surpassed 1.5 million vehicles. The company has operations in over 40 countries and regions, with more than 2,000 sales and service outlets worldwide.
