Leetx, a technology provider for industrial fastening and assembly, has launched the EcoMove electric cylinder. The product aims to streamline the integration of automated assembly stations, particularly those performing press-fit operations. Historically, system integrators and manufacturers have spent between 40 and 100 hours per station to procure, integrate, and program individual components like motors, controllers, and sensors.

The EcoMove consolidates the mechanical structure, servomotor, controller, pressure sensor, and visualization software into a single, integrated unit. This approach eliminates the need to source multiple disparate parts and reduces custom programming efforts. Leetx claims the new cylinder can be set up in approximately two hours, a substantial reduction from the previous 40-100 hour integration time.

The device supports a force range of 10 to 60 kN with stroke options of 150 mm and 350 mm. Its applications include press-fitting, riveting, spring testing, and straightening on automated production lines across automotive, electric vehicle battery, and general industrial sectors. The system provides real-time force and displacement monitoring with a pass/fail evaluation for each cycle.

Leetx develops and manufactures all core modules for EcoMove internally. The company states the unit is 20 times more energy-efficient and quieter than hydraulic alternatives. The CE-certified EcoMove is now available, with European technical support provided through Leetx's German subsidiary.
