Legal Firm Investigates Fidelity National Information Services Over Financial Disclosures

Law firm Levi & Korsinsky has initiated an investigation into Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) following a significant downward revision of the company's fiscal 2026 earnings guidance. The firm is examining whether FIS provided materially false or misleading information regarding its financial performance and business outlook.

On November 4, 2026, FIS lowered its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) forecast to a range of $5.82 to $5.89, falling short of the consensus estimate of approximately $6.20. The investigation seeks to determine if the company’s previous financial statements accurately reflected business conditions or if investors were misled regarding the risks facing the company.

The inquiry also extends to the company’s accounting practices from previous periods, specifically the second quarter of 2025. During that period, FIS reported a GAAP net loss of approximately $470 million against adjusted net earnings of $716 million. Investigators are looking into the basis for this $1.2 billion discrepancy to ensure federal securities laws were upheld and that complete information was available to the public.
