LEGO Group Launches "The Goonies" Brick Set with Actor Ke Huy Quan

The LEGO Group has unveiled a new LEGO Ideas set based on the 1985 film "The Goonies." The 2,912-piece diorama model allows adult fans to recreate scenes from the movie, including the Fratellis' hideout, caves, and One-Eyed Willy's treasure room.

To mark the release, actor Ke Huy Quan, who played Data in the original film, stars in a short tribute film. Quan guides viewers through the set's details, highlighting booby traps and hidden elements, while sharing personal memories from his performance.

The collectible set includes 12 minifigures representing key characters and was designed by fan designer Vaggelis Ntezes through the LEGO Ideas platform. The model features interactive elements, such as trap doors and a skeleton organ.

The LEGO Ideas "The Goonies" set is available for LEGO Insiders starting November 1, with general availability on November 4. A "The Walsh' Attic" gift with purchase will be offered for a limited time to early buyers.
