LEGO Releases Batmobile™ Set Inspired by Batman Returns
LEGO has released a new building set recreating the iconic Batmobile™ from the 1992 film Batman Returns. The set features a transformation mechanism.
LEGO GmbH has unveiled a new building set replicating the iconic Batmobile™ from the 1992 film Batman Returns. The set, numbered 76355, allows builders to assemble the Batmobile, which can transform into the Batmissile™ with the press of a button.
The vehicle is recognized for its art deco-inspired design, which reflected the film's dark Gotham City™ vision. The LEGO version aims to capture this design in detail, including an opening canopy and a replica cockpit interior.
A key feature of the set is its transformation mechanism, which recreates a scene from the movie where Batman™ escapes an attack by The Penguin™ using the Batmissile function. The finished model measures 45 cm (17 inches) in length and is primarily intended for display.
The set also includes a Batman™ minifigure on a stand bearing the "Batman Returns" name. This detail is aimed at collectors who appreciate film-accurate elements.
