Reston, Va. – Leidos and Rune Technologies are collaborating to bolster military logistics operations with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

The partnership will focus on developing AI-driven predictive logistics and sustainment solutions designed for contested and distributed operational environments. This initiative combines Rune's AI software for predictive logistics with Leidos' expertise in AI-enabled decision advantage, aiming to provide commanders with enhanced situational awareness and decision support, particularly addressing the unique challenges of the Indo-Pacific region, including vast distances and maritime operations.

"Sustaining forces across the vast distances of the Indo-Pacific requires the ability to understand logistics demand before it affects mission execution," said Jason McCarthy, Leidos senior vice president for Airborne & Mission Solutions. "Together with Rune, we are providing commanders with the necessary insight and decision support to improve logistics visibility and increase readiness in complex, dispersed operating areas."

David Tuttle, Co-Founder & CEO of Rune Technologies, highlighted the integrated approach. "Winning in this environment requires leveraging technology to connect data across planning, decision-making, and execution in complex operational environments to enable sustainment at speed," Tuttle stated. "By combining Rune's AI-enabled predictive logistics capabilities with Leidos' enterprise data integration expertise, we are helping commanders achieve this."

This collaboration aligns with Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategy, emphasizing AI for decision advantage, mission software, and operational readiness. The goal is to empower military organizations to anticipate sustainment needs before they impact mission success.
