Lennox Announces Leadership Change for Building Climate Solutions Division
Lennox has appointed Geoff Dethlefsen to lead its Building Climate Solutions segment starting January 2027, as current head Joe Nassab transitions to a strategic advisory role.

Lennox is set to restructure the leadership of its Building Climate Solutions division. Joe Nassab, the current Executive Vice President, will step down from his executive duties at the end of 2026 to serve as a strategic advisor, focusing on leadership development and business support for the firm.
Geoff Dethlefsen, currently serving as Vice President and General Manager of Lennox Commercial HVAC, will take over the role effective January 1, 2027. Dethlefsen joined the company in 2024 and is credited with improving revenue margins and overseeing the expansion of manufacturing capabilities, most notably at the Saltillo facility.
CEO Alok Maskara stated that the transition is intended to maintain the operational momentum established during Nassab’s tenure, which included significant acquisitions and infrastructure investments. Dethlefsen brings over two decades of experience in industrial manufacturing and strategy to the position.
Lennox continues to focus on the expansion of its energy-efficient commercial and residential climate solutions. The shift in leadership signals an emphasis on sustaining execution and capital discipline as the company pursues its long-term growth strategy.
