Lenovo has launched a new 31.5-inch curved monitor, model 32Q-2c, under its Legion gaming brand. The monitor is priced at 1749 yuan (approximately $240 USD) at launch.
The display utilizes a 2560 x 1440 resolution VA panel with a 1500R curvature. It boasts a native 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4. The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies to prevent screen tearing.
In terms of color performance, the screen offers 10-bit (8+FRC) color depth, covering 99% of the sRGB spectrum and 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It supports HDR 400 with a typical brightness of 400 nits. Color modes can be adjusted via the on-screen display (OSD) or through Lenovo's software.
Eye comfort has also been addressed, with the monitor featuring hardware-level low blue light filtering, certified by Eyesafe and TÜV Rheinland. It employs DC dimming to prevent flickering, reducing eye strain during extended use.
The 32Q-2c comes with an adjustable ergonomic stand supporting height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. It also features 100x100mm VESA mounting compatibility. Gaming-specific features include "Shadow Boost" to enhance details in dark scenes without washing out the image, aiding in identifying enemies. The new Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager (LADM) software allows for full control of display settings from a connected PC.
