Lenovo's Legion brand has officially announced the upcoming release of the C700 cloud gaming handheld, slated for an August launch. The primary focus of this new device is to deliver a high-quality, low-latency streaming experience for gamers.

The C700 utilizes a combination of PC-side software support and a proprietary streaming protocol developed by Lenovo. According to internal lab data, the device can achieve a streaming delay as low as 10 milliseconds. This was reportedly measured using a Legion Y9000P laptop with an RTX 4060 graphics card, streaming at 1080P resolution and 120Hz.

Additionally, the handheld can be paired with the Legion Stream docking station, which allows for one-button pairing and a more convenient user experience. This setup also enables the streaming of local games even in offline environments.

Lenovo has not yet disclosed the full technical specifications for the C700 handheld. Further details are expected closer to the official release date.
