Lenovo is set to commence pre-orders for its P7 AI PC on October 24th, designated as "Programmer's Day". The launch event will take place in Changsha, Hunan.
The P7 AI PC is built upon a foundation of the Ci Xin P1 SoC and Houmo M50 dNPU. This configuration delivers a substantial 190 TOPS of local AI computing power. The system is designed to support the local deployment of large language models (LLMs) with up to 122 billion parameters.
Further specifications include a 128K context window and local inference capabilities of 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS). The hardware is designed for portability and efficiency, weighing only 300 grams and consuming a maximum of 30 watts, while maintaining operational noise levels below 35 decibels.
This initiative highlights Lenovo's focus on developing localized and powerful AI solutions, positioning the P7 AI PC as a device capable of handling demanding AI tasks directly on the user's machine.
