Lenovo to Launch Legion Gaming Laptop With TCL CSOT's IJP OLED Screen
Lenovo is set to release a new version of its Legion R9000P gaming laptop featuring an IJP OLED display panel from TCL CSOT. This latest screen technology promises enhanced visual clarity and color accuracy.

Lenovo will introduce a new iteration of its Legion R9000P gaming laptop equipped with an IJP (Inkjet Printing) OLED display panel manufactured by TCL CSOT. This technological upgrade aims to deliver significant improvements in visual performance.
The new 16-inch screen utilizes a Real RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout. This arrangement is designed to resolve issues such as text blurring and color fringing commonly found in previous commercial OLED products, resulting in sharper text and more vivid imagery. The display boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and covers over 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
For context, the current LCD versions of the 2026 Legion R9000P gaming laptops are powered by AMD Ryzen 9 8945HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPUs. Their screens offer a 2560x1600 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness.
TCL CSOT's investment in IJP OLED technology marks a notable advancement in the display market. This method allows for higher resolutions, improved power efficiency, and potentially lower manufacturing costs compared to other OLED production techniques. The collaboration with Lenovo brings this advanced display technology directly to consumers in the gaming laptop segment.
