This specific "Elite" variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset has previously appeared in several smartphone models from manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and Red Magic. The inclusion of this high-performance processor signals an upgrade for the Y700 tablet within Lenovo's gaming-focused Legion lineup.
The Y700 "Wuji" tablet will also feature LPDDR5T memory with a transfer rate of 10667 MT/s and UFS 4.1 Pro storage. Previous reports indicated that the device supports an internal data card and a pluggable SIM card, enabling 5G network connectivity on the N79 band.
Additionally, the tablet is equipped with a 50MP rear camera, encircled by a three-stage RGB light ring. Further specifications and details are expected from Lenovo as the August launch approaches.
