Leostream Launches Cloud Offering for Secure Remote Access
Leostream Corporation has introduced Leostream Cloud, a new cloud-based service designed to provide direct, secure, and policy-controlled remote access to workstations and resources without requiring a VPN.

Leostream Corporation has launched Leostream Cloud, a new cloud-based offering aimed at simplifying secure remote access to physical and cloud-hosted workstations and other protected resources. The service allows authorized users to connect directly to the specific workstations and resources they require, presenting an alternative to traditional VPN-based remote access methods.
Historically, remote access has often relied on VPNs, which can grant users broad access to an entire corporate network. Leostream Cloud seeks to address this by authenticating users and applying access policies, ensuring connections are limited only to the resources for which the user has authorization. This approach can reduce the need for VPN deployments and enhance security by restricting access.
The Leostream Cloud solution also supports privileged access management for third-party users, such as contractors, providing controlled access to specific resources without granting wider network entry. It combines identity-based authentication with policy-driven resource assignment, so users only see and connect to the resources they are permitted to use, thereby minimizing unnecessary network exposure.
The service supports remote access across physical and virtual workstations, as well as various cloud environments, with support for multiple connection protocols. Leostream Cloud functions as part of a Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) by applying identity and policy controls at the point of access.
