LG Display Reports Modest Revenue Growth for Q2 2026
LG Display announced its second quarter 2026 results, with revenue reaching KRW 5.61 trillion, a 0.45% year-over-year increase. The company's net loss also narrowed during the period.

LG Display released its financial report for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, covering April to June. The company reported total revenue of KRW 5.61 trillion, marking a 0.45% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. Despite the slight revenue growth, the company incurred a net loss.
The net loss for the quarter stood at KRW 107.7 billion. This loss, however, represents a 7.16% reduction compared to the second quarter of fiscal year 2025. The company attributed the loss to seasonal industry lulls, inventory adjustments by product manufacturers, and one-time costs associated with labor efficiency improvements.
For the first half of fiscal year 2026 (January to June), LG Display's cumulative revenue decreased by 4.34% to KRW 11.15 trillion. However, the company managed to turn its operational performance around, posting a profit of KRW 38.99 billion compared to an operating loss of KRW 82.57 billion in the prior year's first half. This marks an improvement of over KRW 121.6 billion.
LG Display indicated that its strategic focus on OLED technology and business structure adjustments are beginning to yield results. The company plans to continue investing in technological advancements and cost optimization to enhance profitability and competitive positioning.
