LG Electronics Launches AI Air Conditioner in Australia

LG Electronics has introduced its new DUALCOOL™ AI Air residential air conditioner to the Australian market, available from October 2025. The unit aims to optimize indoor comfort and energy savings through the company's AI Core-Tech technology.

The DUALCOOL™ AI Air is designed to meet the growing demands of Australian consumers for energy efficiency and smart, app-connected appliances. Its Smart Inverter™ technology detects ambient temperatures and intelligently adjusts airflow direction for consistent comfort.

The AI Air mode utilizes the ThinQ® app for spatial analysis to learn user behavior and create efficient airflow pathways. The system initially provides direct airflow for rapid cooling or heating, then transitions to Soft Air mode once the room reaches the desired temperature.

LG states the AI is engineered to intuitively understand and proactively care for household needs, delivering efficient performance with reduced energy consumption. The company aims to create smarter and more intuitive living spaces.
