LG Electronics reports $550 million operating profit for Q3
LG Electronics recorded a third-quarter operating profit of $549.89 million, bolstered by growth in its appliance and automotive business segments.
LG Electronics generated $16.75 billion in revenue for the third quarter, yielding an operating profit of $549.89 million. All four of the company's primary business units remained profitable throughout the period.
The automotive solutions division reported record-high quarterly revenue and profit, while the media and entertainment unit saw year-over-year gains. Cumulatively, for the first nine months of 2026, the company posted $50.2 billion in revenue and $2.83 billion in operating profit.
LG is expanding its presence in the AI data center infrastructure market. The company has secured over $2.11 billion in cumulative orders for AI cooling solutions through the third quarter. To support this growth, LG has announced an additional $154.72 million investment to expand related production facilities.
