LG Electronics North America has announced leadership changes within its U.S. marketing team, with Peggy Ang appointed as the new head of marketing for LG Electronics USA. She will oversee the company's advertising, consumer research, sponsorships, and promotion initiatives across all business units.
Ang joined LG in 2016 and has held senior brand and marketing positions at Samsung, Sony Electronics, and Discovery Communications. Additionally, Chris Hong has joined LG Electronics North America as senior vice president and chief digital officer, leading digital transformation strategies. Hong returns to LG after 23 years, bringing experience from major tech companies and startups.
The company also announced the retirement of David VanderWaal, who has served in key marketing roles since 2007. VanderWaal's tenure included leading LG's award-winning in-store marketing campaigns.
