LG Launches AI-Powered CLOi ServeBot for Service Industries

LG Electronics is launching its new CLOi ServeBot (model LDLIM31), an autonomous, door-type service robot aimed at the hospitality and healthcare sectors. The robot is designed to assist with delivery tasks, reducing the burden on staff.

The CLOi ServeBot features a four-door design with ample interior storage, capable of carrying items such as towels and water bottles. LG states the robot can handle simple and repetitive delivery duties.

This launch expands LG's portfolio of AI robot solutions and supports the company's strategy to grow its B2B business, particularly in delivery and logistics services.

The robot was first released in South Korea, with further launches planned for North America and Asia. The CLOi ServeBot has already received design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award 2024 and the iF Design Award.
