LG Named 2024 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence

LG Electronics has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy as the 2024 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence. The award acknowledges LG's sustained commitment to combating climate change and protecting the environment through its leadership in ENERGY STAR certified products and promotional efforts.

This marks the 11th time LG has received Partner of the Year recognition since 2012. The company was noted for its robust participation in various ENERGY STAR campaigns and promotions, contributing to educating tens of millions of American consumers about greener living. These efforts generated a record 8.3 billion consumer impressions.

LG was the first to certify induction cooktops and ranges to the new ENERGY STAR cooking specification finalized in October 2023. Additionally, LG was the ENERGY STAR Partner to certify dishwashers to the ENERGY STAR Version 7 specification, with all new models earning the "ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2023" designation.

The award highlights LG's strategic push to drive electrification in the U.S. The company offers a range of energy-efficient products, including heat-pump enabled HVAC systems, water heaters, clothes dryers, induction cooktops, and EV chargers, alongside energy storage and management systems, supporting broader decarbonization goals.
