LGMG Showcases Electric Mining Equipment and Fast Charging Solutions

LGMG showcased electric mining equipment, ultra-fast charging technology, and integrated energy solutions at its inaugural Global Mining Customer Service Festival in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The event, held from October 9–11, 2026, brought together over 500 industry representatives to witness technologies designed to electrify mining operations and reduce diesel consumption.

The demonstration featured LGMG's electric mining trucks, intelligent fleet dispatch systems, solar power generation, energy storage, and ultra-fast charging infrastructure operating under actual mining conditions. The company's approach to electrification encompasses not only individual machines but also supporting energy infrastructure, integrating renewable energy generation, battery storage, and megawatt-class charging.

A key technological highlight was LGMG's electric mining truck, capable of charging its battery from 20% to 90% in 23 minutes. The company reported that its charging system can deliver nearly 800 kWh in 18 minutes under extreme operating conditions, with peak charging power reaching approximately 3.6 MW. This rapid charging is intended to minimize downtime and help maintain fleet productivity.

LGMG's integrated solutions, including solar, storage, and charging combined with transportation, can reduce reliance on diesel-generated electricity, particularly in remote mines with limited grid capacity. The company stated these technologies aim to make large-scale mine electrification more practical while lowering operating costs and emissions without compromising productivity.
