Li Auto reveals new "Windcliff Purple" color for upcoming L6 model
Chinese automaker Li Auto unveiled the "Windcliff Purple" exterior color for its new L6 model. The vehicle is scheduled for an official reveal on July 16.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Li Auto has announced the "Windcliff Purple" exterior color for its upcoming L6 model. The vehicle is set to be officially revealed on July 16. This new color option joins the previously shown "Dune Yellow".
The new L6 model retains the dimensions of the current version, measuring 4,935 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,735 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The powertrain remains a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 113 kW, now paired with an upgraded 51 kWh battery.
Inside, the cabin design largely mirrors the current model, with a slight adjustment to the wireless phone charging area. The central display is now a single, integrated unit spanning across the dashboard for both the driver and front passenger, maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. Ambient lighting has also been added to areas such as the door panels.
Production costs for the new L6 model have reportedly increased significantly due to factors including the larger battery and rising prices of raw materials like lithium carbonate and memory chips. These increases, along with other component cost hikes, are estimated to have added over 14,000 yuan (approximately $1,930 USD) per vehicle before other potential upgrades.
