Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Li Auto has announced its strategy for the European market and presented its new i6 model in Paris. This marks the company's first all-electric vehicle designed for global sales, developed with European markets and standards in mind.

The Li Auto i6 made its official European debut at the Paris Motor Show, with plans for market launch and customer deliveries in Europe to follow. The vehicle's development adhered to global standards, including proprietary motors, batteries, and chips. In terms of safety, the i6 is engineered to meet Euro NCAP five-star standards and will undergo official testing in Europe.

Li Auto opened static viewings for the i6 model in 485 of its stores in China. The official launch and test drives are scheduled for late October, with first deliveries anticipated in early November. The fully electric i6 features several new functionalities, including improved ADB matrix headlights, an electric front trunk, and comfort features such as front "zero-gravity" seats and a rear "lie-flat" seat.

Technical specifications include a large 29-inch 6K panoramic display for the front passenger, a 21-inch 4K entertainment screen for the rear passengers, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cabin chip, and the company's self-developed M100 chip. The vehicle is equipped with a 96 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of 780 kilometers on a single charge.
