Liam Nachawati Wins IAME EuroCup in Le Mans
12-year-old karting driver Liam Nachawati secured first place at the IAME EuroCup in Le Mans. The victory follows a second-place finish at the IAME Euro Series in Belgium.

American karting driver Liam Nachawati, 12, has achieved a significant victory at the IAME EuroCup in Le Mans, France. The event, held on Sunday, marks a surge of momentum for the young driver at the close of his first season in the more demanding OKJ and X30 Junior categories.
The Le Mans win follows a strong performance two weeks prior at the IAME Euro Series in Mariembourg, Belgium, where Nachawati secured a second-place podium finish. These consecutive top-tier results conclude a year of adjustment for the driver, who moved up to the junior classes in January and has been competing against older and more experienced competitors.
Nachawati's drive in Le Mans saw a notable climb through the field. He started the qualifying rounds in 20th position, advancing to sixth by the opening heat. After securing seventh place in the Super Heat, he ultimately won the final race by a margin of 1.524 seconds.
The IAME EuroCup in Le Mans attracted over 290 drivers from more than 20 countries. Nachawati races in the OKJ class for Ricky Flynn Motorsport in Europe and the X30 Junior class for Rolison Performance Group and Dream Racing. He aims to continue his development toward a career in professional motorsport, with the FIA World Championship in Italy next on his schedule.
