Life Time, a healthy lifestyle brand, opened its new Athletic Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, on October 12, 2026. This facility, spanning over 180,000 square feet, marks the first ground-up athletic country club by Life Time in the Tampa-Sarasota region.
The complex features an 86,000-square-foot club area, a beach club of nearly 50,000 square feet, and a pickleball retreat covering close to 50,000 square feet. In addition to 14 pickleball courts, it offers extensive fitness equipment, group exercise classes, and spaces dedicated to recovery and relaxation.
Key amenities include a leisure pool with waterslides, 14 pickleball courts (three indoor, eleven outdoor), cardio and strength training equipment, massage chairs, spa services, a cafe, coworking spaces, and childcare. The club also provides rejuvenation suites with cold plunge and sauna facilities, alongside a full-service LifeSpa.
The opening strengthens Life Time's presence on Florida's Gulf Coast. The company now operates eight locations in Florida, with another club slated to open in Jacksonville in 2027.
