Lifecard Travel Assistance GmbH has introduced new group travel insurance packages aimed at holidays, excursions, and sports activities. The company has developed tailored solutions to meet the insurance needs of groups.

The offerings include a basic package (LTA Gruppentarif Basic) that covers travel cancellation and interruption costs. This package is available for trips with a maximum value of EUR 4,000 per person, with no deductible for individuals up to age 69. For travelers aged 70 and above, a 20% deductible applies in cases of unexpectedly severe illnesses.

Additional options include a "flexible" package and a more comprehensive "Basic Travel" package, which adds coverage for items such as travel baggage. These insurance plans are designed for trips lasting up to 28 days.

The company also provides detailed guidance on handling claims, particularly for medical emergencies abroad. Lifecard Travel Assistance emphasizes the importance of immediate contact with a local doctor or the company's emergency hotline. Specific instructions are also provided for travelers to North and South America.
