Lifecard-Travel-Assistance launches comprehensive insurance for travel agencies
Lifecard-Travel-Assistance has introduced new insurance packages for travel agencies and tour operators. The insurances cover business contents, operational interruptions, and liability, among other areas.

Lifecard-Travel-Assistance has launched new insurance solutions specifically designed for the needs of travel agencies and tour operators. These new policies aim to secure companies' assets, business continuity, and liabilities across various scenarios.
The business contents insurance covers office furnishings, merchandise, and inventory against hazards such as fire, storm, water damage, burglary, and theft. The base coverage sum is €60,000 and can be increased up to €200,000. Additionally, the package includes business interruption insurance, which compensates for lost profits and ongoing costs following an operational halt due to a claim. Electronics and glass insurance are also part of the business contents coverage.
The new liability insurance covers third-party personal injury, property damage, and financial loss claims. The sum insured is €5 million. It also includes private liability coverage for business owners and managing directors. This coverage extends to damages arising from the use of internet technology, such as computer viruses.
For tour operators, a liability insurance is available covering up to 500 participants per year, including sports-related risks like kayaking, golf, tennis, and ski courses. Travel agencies can benefit from financial loss insurance that covers, among other things, incorrect price calculations, faulty tariff applications, and travel consultancy. This policy also protects against loss or delayed delivery of travel documents sent by mail.
Furthermore, Lifecard-Travel-Assistance offers a 24-hour accident insurance policy and a legal protection insurance covering private, professional, and traffic-related legal matters.
