Light & Wonder Partners With Warner Bros Discovery For "Wizard of Oz" Slot Game
Light & Wonder has entered a partnership with Warner Bros Discovery to launch its "Wizard of Oz - Over The Rainbow" slot game for players in several U.S. states and Ontario, Canada.
Gaming provider Light & Wonder has partnered with Warner Bros Discovery Global Experiences and BetMGM. This collaboration will bring Light & Wonder's "Wizard of Oz - Over The Rainbow" slot game to players across multiple U.S. jurisdictions and in Ontario, Canada.
The game, inspired by the classic film, is already live in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Michigan, and Ontario. Light & Wonder plans to release additional branded titles from the series through 2025 and into 2026.
Light & Wonder has stated that the "Wizard of Oz - Over The Rainbow" game features characters and elements from the movie. It is a 5x4 reel slot designed to offer players a "magical adventure" with features including Glinda the Good Witch, Balloon Jackpots, and free spins.
This partnership is part of a busy period for Light & Wonder. The company has recently appointed a new iGaming CEO, entered a deal with Playson, and announced an $850 million acquisition of Grover Charitable Gaming.
