Lightning Fibre seeks demand for new area expansions

Fiber network provider Lightning Fibre announced this week that it is continuing the build-out of its full-fibre network, making it available to new areas. The company has not yet reached all homes and is encouraging interested local residents to register their addresses on its website.

Lightning Fibre stated, "While we are not in your area yet, you can register your interest by filling out the form on our site. Prioritisation of local areas is based on demand, so registering will help us plan our next phase. Get your neighbours and friends to register too so we know your area is one of high demand."

The company also noted that using its website requires acceptance of cookies for site functionality. A specific timeline or list of new areas for expansion has not yet been provided.

Lightning Fibre offers "full fibre" services, which use fibre-optic cables directly to homes, in competition with traditional copper-based DSL connections. Full fibre connections generally offer significantly faster download and upload speeds.
