Lindab Group Acquires Irish Ventilation Distributor Connaught Ventilation Supplies
Lindab Group has acquired Irish ventilation distributor Connaught Ventilation Supplies (CVS), expanding its presence into western Ireland. The deal establishes Lindab in a region known for its high construction activity.
Lindab Group, a Swedish manufacturer of ventilation and building products, has acquired Connaught Ventilation Supplies (CVS), an Irish distributor based in Galway.
The acquisition marks Lindab's entry into western Ireland, a market characterized by significant construction projects. CVS also engages in some production of ventilation ducts and employs five people.
Connaught Ventilation Supplies reported annual revenues of approximately EUR 2 million. Lindab Group stated that CVS's profitability exceeds the average within the group. Prior to the acquisition, CVS was not a distributor of Lindab products.
The move is expected to strengthen Lindab's distribution network and market penetration in Ireland. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.
