LineStar Integrity Services Acquires PIMS of London's North American Business

LineStar Integrity Services has expanded its footprint in the pipeline integrity sector with the acquisition of PIMS of London's North American operations. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition integrates PIMS's expertise into LineStar's service offerings. Trent Ackhurst, co-founder of PIMS, will join LineStar as Commercial Director of Integrity Management. He and his team will focus on enhancing the safety and reliability of client pipelines through data-driven risk analysis and system design.

Paul Neundorfer, CEO of LineStar, stated that PIMS's approach to risk assessment and data analysis complements LineStar's existing services. The company aims to provide clients with a comprehensive solution for pipeline management, covering both field operations and control room functions.

Louis Krannich, VP Compliance and Technical Operations at LineStar, highlighted PIMS's 15-year track record of partnering with major pipeline operators to address integrity challenges. This move allows LineStar to immediately offer an enhanced service package to its clients.

LineStar Integrity Services provides a range of pipeline operation solutions, including integrity and compliance management, control room, and field services. The company employs over 750 individuals and serves a broad client base across the United States.
