Lingnan University, a publicly funded institution in Hong Kong, has introduced its Presidential Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (PPRF) scheme. The program is designed to attract early-career researchers who have completed their doctoral studies within the last three years, offering them a platform to collaborate with the university’s existing academic staff.

The fellowship carries a standard duration of three years. While the initial appointment is set for one year, renewal for the subsequent two years is contingent upon a satisfactory performance review. Participants are required to actively pursue external research funding, including grants from the Research Grants Council (RGC) and the JC STEM Early Career Research Fellowship.

Applicants must secure a potential supervisor from the university and submit a formal research proposal. The university is accepting applications on a rolling basis, and the search will continue until the positions are filled.
