Lingnan University Secures 14 Awards at Geneva Invention Exhibition

Lingnan University showcased substantial success at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, securing 14 awards for its research projects. The university's contingent presented a range of innovations, demonstrating advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital technology, and sustainable solutions.
The exhibition, a prominent platform for inventors and researchers worldwide, saw Lingnan University's projects receive significant recognition. Among the top honors, 'SmartCool: Digital Twin AI, Cool Smarter with Human Feedback, Hit Carbon Zero' earned a Gold Medal, alongside 'FlexiBot: Make Every Parking Spot a Charging Spot' which also received a Gold Medal and a "Congratulations of the Jury" commendation. Several other projects garnered Silver Medals, including 'Smarter Traffic, Safer Roads: AIoT and Real-Time GeoAI Innovations for Urban Transport' and 'Face Fortress: Adaptive All-In-One AI for Digital ID Safety'.
This year's haul of 14 awards represents a more than twofold increase compared to the university's performance in the previous year, highlighting a stronger showing and greater impact on the international stage.
