LinkedIn Is the Most AI-Saturated Platform, Study Suggests
A new study by AI detection platform Pangram suggests LinkedIn hosts the most AI-generated content. Nearly one million posts users encountered online were analyzed over two months.

LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, appears to be the most saturated with AI-generated content, according to a new study from AI detection firm Pangram. The analysis scanned nearly one million user-scrolled posts across the internet over a two-month period.
The study found that over 40 percent of LinkedIn posts exceeding 250 words were fully written by AI. While the platform accounted for one-third of all content scanned, its posts comprised nearly two-thirds of all AI-generated content detected.
AI-generated or AI-assisted content was more prevalent on LinkedIn compared to other major platforms like X, Medium, Reddit, and Substack. On X, for instance, a quarter of long-form content was fully AI-generated, with an additional 23 percent being AI-assisted.
LinkedIn offers an integrated AI writing assistant feature called "Enhance post," simplifying the process for users to generate content. The platform has previously stated its intention to detect and downrank AI-generated content to reduce its visibility in user feeds.
