Linxon Contracted for Svenska kraftnät Substation Renewal in Sweden

Linxon has entered into a contract with Svenska kraftnät, Sweden's transmission system operator, for the renewal of the 400 kV Breared substation located in Halland County.

The project represents a significant investment in Sweden's national transmission grid. Its objective is to bolster electricity transmission to the southwestern regions of the country, where demand is seeing a continuous rise due to new industrial facilities and increasing electrification.

As part of the undertaking, Linxon will deliver a new, state-of-the-art 400 kV substation. This upgrade is designed to enable greater power transfer capacity, thereby supporting the growing energy demand. Modernizing the existing substation is critical for ensuring the grid's reliability in the future.
