Linxon, Hitachi Energy, FTC Solar Collaborate on Renewable Energy Infrastructure

Linxon, Hitachi Energy, and FTC Solar (Nasdaq: FTCI) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a strategic collaboration framework. The agreement aims to jointly pursue and deliver utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across North America and other mutually agreed markets.

The collaboration brings together three industry leaders with complementary capabilities. The initiative intends to address the challenge of scaling the infrastructure needed to integrate more renewable energy and strengthen electricity grids.

Linxon will contribute its expertise in substation solutions, including engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. Hitachi Energy brings its global experience and technical leadership in grid integration solutions, including transformers, switchgear, and grid automation systems. FTC Solar will provide its solar tracking technology and associated services to optimize the performance of solar power plants.

The partners believe their combined strengths will enable them to offer clients more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for renewable energy projects. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the deployment of clean energy infrastructure and support growth in the energy transmission sector.
