Linyi Lintuo Offers Guidance on Extending PVC Flooring Lifespan
Linyi Lintuo Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. has released guidelines for maintaining and extending the service life of PVC flooring. The advice covers protection, cleaning, and stain removal.

Chinese manufacturer Linyi Lintuo Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd. has issued guidance aimed at maximizing the lifespan of PVC flooring. The company emphasizes the importance of regular maintenance and proper cleaning techniques to preserve the material.
The recommendations include placing mats at entrances to prevent sand and gravel from being tracked onto the floor, which can cause scratching. Care must also be taken when moving heavy or sharp-bottomed objects to avoid dragging them across the surface.
While PVC flooring offers fire resistance, the company notes it is not entirely immune to burns. Direct contact with high-temperature items like burning cigarette butts or hot metal objects should be avoided.
For cleaning, the use of neutral detergents is advised, while strong acids or alkaline cleaners should be avoided. Daily maintenance typically involves dry mopping, with monthly tasks including deeper cleaning and wax application for worn areas.
Stains from substances like ink or grease should be wiped up promptly, followed by scrubbing with diluted detergent. The company also stresses the need for chemical protection, warning against prolonged exposure of the floor to large amounts of water.
