Litgrid AB Extraordinary General Meeting Approves Aid for Ukraine and Amended Articles of Association

Litgrid AB held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on September 28, 2026, where key decisions were made regarding humanitarian aid and corporate governance.

The meeting approved the provision of humanitarian aid amounting to EUR 75,013.16 to Ukraine's energy sector. This aid will consist of equipment to be transferred to entities operating in Ukraine, aimed at restoring facilities damaged by the ongoing war. The decision aligns with Lithuania's Law on Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.

Additionally, the shareholders approved a new version of Litgrid AB's Articles of Association. The company's CEO has been authorized to sign the amended Articles of Association and register them with the relevant Lithuanian authorities.

Implementation of both decisions is contingent upon obtaining necessary approvals from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, along with other legal requirements. The CEO, with the right to sub-delegate, is tasked with concluding the humanitarian aid agreements and managing the registration of the amended Articles of Association.

Litgrid AB is the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator, responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient transmission of electricity throughout the country.
