LL Company Oy Improves Production Capacity and Fuel Economy with Metso Equipment
Crushing contractor LL Company Oy reports significant gains in capacity, fuel efficiency, and wear part longevity following the integration of Metso's Lokotrack LT220D.

Finnish construction contractor LL Company Oy has reported substantial operational improvements after implementing Metso Oyj's Lokotrack LT220D crushing plant.
According to Managing Director Lauri Lintunen, the new unit has increased crushing capacity by over 50 metric tons per hour compared to the company's previous crusher and screen setup. Additionally, fuel consumption has decreased by an average of 20-25 percent. The company also noted an extended service life for wear parts, estimated at an additional 20,000 metric tons per mantle.
The LT220D has been operational for approximately nine months, accumulating nearly 3,000 operating hours. LL Company currently produces around 3,000 metric tons of crushed stone per day over two shifts, with an annual target of half a million metric tons. The company operates primarily in Central and Eastern Finland.
LL Company's history spans 70 years, with its crushing operations beginning in the 1980s. The current entity, LL Company Oy, was established in 2013. While the company handles its daily maintenance, including wear part replacements, they consult Metso for process adjustments and technical support.
