LMU Munich announces upcoming sustainability and global health events
Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) has released an overview of upcoming events focused on sustainability and global health. The schedule spans from November 2025 to March 2026, featuring several interdisciplinary sessions.
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) has outlined a series of upcoming events organized by its Munich Center for Sustainability (MZN). The schedule, running from November 2025 through March 2026, includes a range of interdisciplinary seminars, panel discussions, and workshops.
The program features LMU's Sustainability Week in November 2025, addressing topics such as the climate crisis and health, art, law, and sustainability, as well as science communication and digital technologies in climate science. The week will also host panel discussions and workshops on sustainable education and the advancement of sustainability in research, teaching, and administration.
Additionally, an audio walk titled "CitySoundscapes" will explore soundscapes, biodiversity, and well-being in Munich's green spaces. A symposium, "Russia’s Hybrid War and Dissolution of Truth," is scheduled for February 2026, with a public component including a keynote address.
The event series, commencing in November 2025, will culminate with the LMU Global Health Day 2026, taking place on March 19–20, 2026. The conference theme is 'Global Health for Sustainability!', held at LMU Munich.
