localsearch CEO Stefano Santinelli to Step Down
Stefano Santinelli is departing as CEO of localsearch after ten years. An interim leadership team will ensure continuity until a permanent successor is appointed.
Stefano Santinelli, CEO of localsearch (Swisscom Directories AG), has decided to leave the company after a decade in charge to pursue new opportunities outside the Swisscom Group.
The company's board of directors has planned and implemented an orderly handover of the CEO responsibilities. An interim solution, involving members of the executive management team, is in place to ensure leadership continuity while a permanent successor is sought.
Since taking the helm as CEO on October 1, 2016, Santinelli has guided localsearch through a period of significant transformation. Under his leadership, the company evolved from its traditional directory business into a modern digital marketing and platform company, aimed at helping Swiss SMEs succeed in the digital landscape.
Operational responsibility will temporarily rest with John Lee, Chief Strategy and New Business Officer and deputy CEO, supported by CFO Roland Hunn. Together with the executive management team, they will maintain the company's stability and strategic direction.
