Lockwood Launches Unified App for Smart Lock Management

ASSA ABLOY's Australian brand Lockwood has launched the Lockwood Home App, enabling unified management of smart devices from both Lockwood and Yale. This new application supports complete cross-compatibility between the two brands' smart locks, offering users flexibility to control their devices via either the Lockwood Home App or the Yale Home App.

Alongside the app launch, the company has introduced new smart lock models. The Lockwood Latitude Slim Smart Mortice Lock provides keyless access and is suitable for aluminium doors, while the Lockwood Lume Smart Interior Lever brings smart locking to interior doors, such as garage-to-home entries.

For centralized control, the Lockwood Home Hub has been introduced as the ecosystem's core. It supports up to 30 Zigbee and 16 BLE devices, enabling full remote control, including the distribution of digital keys and access tracking anytime, anywhere.

The company emphasizes that Lockwood smart devices and the app comply with Australia's Cybersecurity Act and national standards, covering device security and software update transparency. This aims to provide assurance for Australian consumers seeking secure and user-friendly home security solutions.
