Locus Fermentation Solutions (Locus FS) has significantly expanded its laboratory facilities in The Woodlands, Texas. The expansion aims to consolidate expertise from various disciplines and accelerate the development of high-performance biosurfactant-based products for the mining, oil, and gas sectors.
The expanded laboratory integrates the company's mining and ingredients laboratory capabilities with its existing oil and gas technical operations. The objective is to streamline customer-driven product development and improve collaboration among technical teams. This expansion doubles the company's research and development capacity for advancing biosurfactant innovation.

Locus FS leverages the company's proprietary fermentation platform and expertise in glycolipids to create bio-based molecules that address interfacial challenges in industrial systems.
