Lodestar Metals begins maiden drill program at Gold Run project in Nevada

Lodestar Metals Corp. has commenced a 16-hole reverse circulation drill program totaling 2,680 meters at its Gold Run property. The project, located in Nevada, marks the company's first operational testing phase after months of geological data collection and site preparation.

The drilling campaign targets four specific prospects: Robbers Knob, Independence Trend, Gomes, and Crown North. These sites were selected based on the integration of historical drill data, soil geochemistry, and recent geophysical surveys, including UAV magnetic and property-wide DDIP programs.

CEO Lowell Kamin described the start of the program as a pivotal move for the company to validate its internal geological models. Lodestar has previously noted that while historical data indicates potential for gold and silver, much of the existing information requires verification through new, compliant drilling to confirm mineralization continuity.

Situated within a region known for major gold deposits, Lodestar aims to use the data from this campaign to assess the project's long-term resource potential. The company has stated that further exploration will follow as they evaluate the reliability of historical records against new findings.
