Lodestar Metals Corp. Finalizes Plans for Maiden Drill Program at Gold Run Project
Lodestar Metals Corp. has completed initial exploration at its Gold Run project in Nevada and expects to begin a maiden diamond drill program in the first half of 2026.

Vancouver-based Lodestar Metals Corp. has concluded soil geochemistry and high-resolution magnetic surveys at its Gold Run project in Nevada. Following the analysis of these results, the company has finalized plans for a maiden diamond drilling program and a project-wide dipole-dipole induced polarization (DDIP) geophysical survey.
The drilling operations, scheduled for the first or second quarter of 2026, will target four primary zones: Independence Trend, Gomes, Robbers Knob, and Crown North. CEO Lowell Kamin stated that the program aims to both test known mineralized trends and expand the company’s inventory of high-quality drill targets through systematic exploration.
The Gold Run project focuses on epithermal and Carlin-style gold and silver systems. At the Independence Trend, new drilling will investigate down-dip extensions of previous surface intercepts, while activities at Robbers Knob will focus on expanding depth potential near historically significant gold findings. The integrated geophysical and drilling approach is designed to refine the geological model for the district.
